Dermal Filler treatments turn back time by injecting a medically developed solution under the skin to enhance facial features and fill lines & sunken areas.

Its primary ingredient is hyaluronic acid, a compound naturally found in the body which creates volume and moisture in our skin.

During treatment, you’ll be asked to pull some facial expressions to allow us to assess your facial muscles and take photographs for your records.
After disinfecting your skin and marking the injection sites, we inject 1ml of fluid (1/5 of a teaspoon) into each area, so changes are subtle but beautiful.
We also offer the use of a vibration device during treatment which research has shown can reduce injection-induced pain.
We’ve introduced pre-treatment ultrasound scanning - as standard - so we can ‘see’ under the skin and pinpoint important structures like veins, arteries and blood vessels before injecting. Find out more.
In the highly unlikely event of complications, all the fillers we at FrownDocs can be quickly and easily dissolved. Just a little more peace of mind for us both.
1. Please arrive for your appointment without makeup as removal on the day can irritate the skin and increase risk of infection.
2. If you suffer from facial cold sores in the area we are planning to inject, please take a 3-day course of Aciclovir prior to your treatment (you can obtain a prescription from FrownDocs following initial consultation).
1. It’s normal for experience a little redness, swelling and tenderness immediately after treatment, but should disappear in a few days. If any of these symptoms persist, please let us know so we can advise further.
2. Don’t apply makeup for 12 hours.
3. Avoid saunas or similar environments for 2 weeks.
4. Avoid extended exposure to the sun, UV rays and temperatures below 0°c.
5. Let us know if you suffer from an outbreak of facial cold sores immediately after treatment.
