Polynucleotide treatment is ideal for patients seeking to improve their skin’s hydration, elasticity, and texture, and suitable for most skin types.
The active ingredient is an animal product, so it’s not suitable for vegetarians, vegans or those with fish allergies.
First, your Doctor will apply a local anaesthetic cream to numb the target areas and minimise any discomfort. Then a transparent gel containing the active ingredient is carefully injected into the face and neck using a fine needle (or cannula for under-eye treatments). The procedure minimally-invasive and quick, typically taking just a few minutes per treatment area.
You should start to see results around 2-4 weeks after the first session before becoming more noticeable from session two as the remodelling process accelerates.
